How to Sell Immunity – Immune Supplements Copywriting Tips

During and after the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for immune supplements has surged. However, supplement companies must approach this opportunity with caution and responsibility. I’m writing this article to help dietary supplement companies write about (and sell!) their immune products responsibly, and offer my immune supplements copywriting services if you’d rather outsource.

I am Pat Dougherty, the Natural Health Writer. In this article, we’ll explore how companies should market and communicate about their immune supplements during these times, including tips on how to create credible, responsible and compliant immune supplements copywriting and content writing. I will conclude with some examples of immune supplement copywriting from my own portfolio.

Ready to learn how to sell immune supplements safely, responsibly and successfully? Let’s get to it!

Immune supplements copywriting topics including capsules and a virus

The FDA’s Scrutiny of COVID-19 Claims

In the world of dietary supplements, immune support products have always been a rather sensitive category. Even claims ranging from acute respiratory tract infections to the common cold would trigger major red flags in the eyes of the FDA.

As you can imagine, during COVID any FDA scrutiny of the dietary supplement market was massively amplified — and rightfully so.

With a pandemic in full effect, sadly (and predictably) many unscrupulous companies went into vulture mode and began marketing their nutritional supplements as products that could fight COVID.

To the FDA’s credit, they swung into action quickly. By January 1 of 2020, the FDA had issued 136 warning letters to dietary supplement companies for unapproved and misbranded products in the context of COVID-19 claims. These actions were justified to protect consumers from dangerous misinformation.

You can check out many of the FDA warning letters related to COVID on your own. And I highly recommend doing so. Reading risky claims first-hand is a great way to learn how to keep your own claims clean.

If you’re in a rush, I have created a quick random sampling you can check out in the list below, to get an idea of the herbal supplements and natural products that were making irresponsible immune claims.

The FDA warning letters to immune supplement companies called out copywriting violations like the following:

  • “These herbal formulas are specifically formulated for combating COVID-19 . . ..”
  • “Take as a preventative measure right now to boost your immune system . . . If you become sick, discontinue and begin taking ANTI-VIRAL HERBAL FORMULA . . . specifically formulated for combating COVID-19 . . .”
  • “New COVID-19 FORMULA SAID TO HELP FIGHT + PROTECT against COVID-19[,] Dr. Marc’s COVID-19 Formula 100% Natural Herbal formula works by ultra-boosting the Immune System and significantly reducing inflammation. . . . 100 All Natural Herbal Formula to help your body fight against COVID-19. GOOD FOR PREVENTION AND STRENGTHENING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM. . . . HIGHLY EFFECTIVE FOR ACTIVE COVID-19 PATIENTS.
  • “Corona virus treatment. We analyzed how corona viruses infect tissues, what tissues they infect, and the herbs that are useful to interrupt that process, as well as the herbs useful to shut down the cytokine cascade they create. Here is the protocol.… [T]his is a rather extensive protocol because the particular corona virus that is now spreading world wide is exceptionally potent in its impacts. All the herbs are specific in one way or another for this virus. A number of the herbs are strongly antiviral for corona viruses .…. The formulations are preventative as well as specific for acute infections ….”
  • “Each 100 ml of product will last 16 days for a preventative dose and 8 days for an infection dosage. . . .Take Extracts #1 through #3 as preventative. . . .If you are infected, take all 4 products and use the infection dosage.”
  • “If you are concerned about protecting your health and the health of those you love as the world is facing the continued spread of COVID-19, Chinese medicine may have much to offer that could be life-saving.”
  • “This Nano Silver 10 PPM is your totally non-toxic key to halting COVID-19 APR – Attachment, Penetration, and Replication – to keep yourself and those you love healthy.”
  • “‘AS CORONAVIRUS SPREAD SPEEDS UP, MONTREAL RESEARCHERS WILL TRIAL AN ANTI-VIRAL TREATMENT FOR COVID-19 IN CHINA’‘ Quercetin has already proven successful at treating Ebola and Zika viruses [in mammals].’”

Such claims were found across several different marketing channels, including company websites, promotional materials, social accounts, and with affiliate marketing programs and influencers.

The audacity of some of these companies is staggering.

First off, immune claims are sensitive in their own right. But to then combine sensitive claims with claims of prevention, treatment and conflating supplements with medicines… well it’s a bad strategy to say the least. These companies were practically begging for warning letters from the FDA!

It is interesting to me that the FDA really cast a wide net with these warning letters, too. While most were egregious, there were a few “mild” violations as well — a pretty clear message that the FDA is not tolerating any shenanigans whatsoever when it comes to the COVID space.

Market Immune Health, Not COVID-19

Don’t let FDA scrutiny scare you away from immune supplement marketing!

Immune health is a great category to be in, with tremendous promise for the future.

Research Nester says the immune supplements category will have CAGR of 7.5% and grow to a total market size of $28 Billion by 2028.

This dietary supplements research report was released before the pandemic, and should be considered a conservative estimate.

Moreover, there are so many great ingredients the dietary supplement market can offer to consumers that may help!

Avoiding Risk: How to market immune supplements safely

So what can you say? What can’t you say about immune supplements? And what kind of risks should you look out for?

First and foremost: Don’t mention COVID, the common cold, viruses, sickness of any kind ever!

Don’t say COVID-19.

COVID, coronavirus, COVID-19… whatever moniker you use in day-to-day life, avoid them in all your immune supplement marketing materials.

As soon as you mention the exact threat to your immune system, you are placing your dietary supplements in the context of “treating” whatever that threat may be.

Also avoid phrases like these:

  • Immune-booster
  • Anti-viral or viruses
  • Strengthen your defenses
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Fighting viral infection
  • Serious illness

*So how can you say “sick” without really saying it? One of my favorite phrases to use to dance around the risky words is “immune challenges.”

Along those same lines, “seasonal immune challenges” alludes to cold and flu season without using the red-flag phrasing that gets other nutritional supplements manufacturers into trouble.

Safer claims to use:

  • Supports immune system function
  • Maintain your natural defenses
  • Promotes a balanced immune responses
  • Support healthy immune performance
  • Promote balanced immune responses

Use the best researched immune nutrients for your supplement to make the strongest claims.

To make the strongest immune health claims, focus your formulation on the best dietary supplement ingredients shown in research to help the body’s immune response.

There are many ingredients now found in immune support supplements that have been shown in clinical trials to optimize the adaptive immune response. In other words, supplements remain a great way to support the immune system… and consumers know it. Some of my favorites:

Vitamin and Mineral Supplements

  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D (especially in the case of vitamin D deficiency)
  • Zinc
  • Selenium

Herbal Dietary Supplements

I have done copywriting for immune supplements that supply elderberries and turmeric.

Gut Microbiome Nutritional Supplements

  • Prebiotics
  • Probiotics

In summary, the idea is you want to place your nutritional supplements of supporting your body’s existing healthy immune system function. So rather than nutritional supplements “boosting immune function,” we want to rather portray them as optimizing, promoting, supporting, maintaining, etc. the body’s immune response.

The same idea goes for the inflammatory aspects of immune system performance (which we can’t really talk about anyway). Nutritional supplements cannot have “anti-inflammatory” claims because they are very risky. To mitigate the risk, we rather suggest that a nutritional supplement may “modulate” or “regulate” inflammation.

Finally, it is also great to encourage new supplement takers to follow healthy lifestyle practices that are associated with immune function. These can include intake of citrus fruits, kefir and other immune-supportive foods in a balanced diet; weight loss efforts; stress reduction and more.

*Read my full article on Supplement Copywriting Guidelines, which includes tips on how to safely navigate the FDA and FTC regulations.

Amazon has similar policies in place. If you’re not compliant, then Amazon may not permit you to sell your product on their site.

You can read my article about Copywriting for Amazon Compliance to get an idea of how supplements can be quickly approved so they can market their products on Amazon.

I also have an entire category of posts on FDA writing, specifically. Reading these can help you get the lay of the land, especially if you are new to marketing supplements.

Get legal review!

If you make nutritional supplements and are venturing into the immune system support space, it’s vital to have a lawyer review your claims before going to market.

Hiring me can help you in this regard. I can ensure that your claims and overall marketing efforts are close-to-target before you go for legal review.

My expert supplement copywriting with 20+ years experience can make a huge difference in that legal bill.

By starting out with solid, respectful claims, you might end up paying your lawyer for 1 hour of review rather than 10 hours.

Not to mention the cost of having an inexperienced writer revise your content over and over again until it meets legal approval.

Conclusion

Making irresponsible immune dietary supplement claims is a travesty on many levels. It misleads the consumer, potentially putting their health at risk.

It also disrespects the FDA, raising risk of scrutiny or penalties for your company. Irresponsible marketing of immune supplements may also tarnish the entire supplement industry’s reputation.

If you’re in the supplement business, it is crucial to focus on promoting immune health without directly referencing COVID-19, flus, colds or making exaggerated claims about prevention and treatment. In addition, your key benefit in the immune space should be backed by scientific research, that you enthusiastically share with your customers.

Immune health remains a robust nutritional supplements category with a promising future.

Your target audience is almost certainly thinking of taking supplements to support their immune function. Immune health is a near universal trend these days. And the booming industry can capitalize on consumer interest and increase sales of all sorts of supplements… without incurring the higher risk of unsubstantiated or otherwise irresponsible claims.

Immune Supplement Content Writing Example

[Category name] = EpiCor

EpiCor® is a proprietary supplement derived from fermented baker’s yeast. The supplement supplies immunogens that optimize the body’s defenses.

  • Supports balanced, peak-performing immune function
  • Helps the immune system cope with daily stress
  • Immune support for year-round respiratory challenges

[More Information]

EpiCor® is a proprietary nutritional supplement made with Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which is commonly known as baker’s yeast. Also sometimes referred to as brewer’s yeast, the yeast cell is integral to the creation of both beer and bread.

After undergoing a specific fermentation process, the yeast yields an immune-supporting complex that includes numerous beneficial compounds including amino acids, antioxidants, fiber, polyphenols, protein and vitamins.

The development of this supplement extends back to the early 20th century, when a farm-raised mill worker named C.W. Bloomhall observed that livestock fed fermented food products maintained a notably high level of health.

He founded a company to make fermented products, and decades later it was discovered that employees who worked with the yeast culture exhibited unusually consistent wellness and rarely ever missed a day.

Research into this unique situation determined that the fermented compounds bolstered the immune response of those working with the product, leading to the creation of the supplement.

Science has shown that EpiCor helps to optimize immune function in two key ways. The nutrient promotes the production of secretory immunoglobin A (sIgA), which is present in saliva, tears and mucus and naturally protects the body from outside biological factors such as harmful bacteria.

The supplement’s compounds also reinforce the body’s production of certain white blood cells that act as an efficient defense system. As the nutrient maintains ideal the immune system function, it also modulates inflammatory responses, thereby benefiting overall health.

Clinical studies and research conducted on this branded ingredient have shown that in nutritional supplement form, it elevates antioxidant activity in the body, allowing it to counteract the effects of damaging oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

At least one supplement investigation concluded that the nutrient quickly becomes bioavailable, with antioxidant levels increased within two hours of supplement consumption.

Researchers have also found that it may encourage the optimal function of gastrointestinal microflora, regularly referred to as “good bacteria,” which assist digestion and adaptive immune response functions.

Since much of the immune system is located in the digestive tract, this prebiotic activity may further strengthen natural defenses while promoting digestive comfort and whole-body wellness.

Ever year there are approximately one billion instances of seasonal wellness issues. During these transitional times, each individual’s immune response system can benefit from fortification, with this science-backed supplement serving as a natural complement to conventional health practices.

Dietary Supplements

EpiCor nutritional supplements consist of metabolites and nutrients created from baker’s yeast as it undergoes a fermentation process. The supplement is primarily available in capsule form. The nutrient may be combined with other ingredients such as vitamins (including vitamin C and D3), minerals (zinc) and herbs (olive leaf) in some immune-support formulas.

T Marketing: Testosterone Supplements Copywriter Secrets

Are you in the business of crafting testosterone booster supplements that truly make a difference in the lives of your customers? Do you find yourself navigating the complex terrain of FTC, FDA, and Amazon regulations, all while striving to create persuasive, science-backed claims that resonate with potential buyers? If you need a testosterone supplements copywriter, Look no further – your solution is here.

Meet Your Trusted testosterone Supplements Copywriter with Over Two Decades of Experience: Me!

I’m Pat Dougherty, the Natural Health Writer.

In this article, I discuss some of the complexities and pitfalls of testosterone supplement copywriting. I share helpful tips on how you can talk about your T-booster product while still remaining respectful to FDA regulations. My experience is discussed, both in the nutritional supplement industry and as a testosterone copywriter specifically.

There are some great examples of my testosterone supplements copywriting and content writing, as well.

Ready to dive in? Let’s tee up!

How to Write About Testosterone Supplements

3D image of a testosterone molecule
This is a 3D image of a testosterone molecule.

If you’re getting ready to write up your T-booster dietary supplement, here are some words of advice for you — straight from a professional testosterone supplements copywriter!

The first is, you can’t treat testosterone supplements like other categories. Similar to supplements for cholesterol, for libido, and weight loss, testosterone is one of those very sensitive categories that requires special care.

It’s ironic; “testosterone booster” is in itself a risky name for a supplement. Because it implies that simply taking the pill will raise one’s testosterone levels. That’s exactly the kind of language you should probably be avoiding if you wish to minimize risk.

You’ll also want to avoid mentions of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) because that is in a medical sphere, which must be kept completely separate from supplements.

The same goes for “alternative treatments” and marketing claims related to erectile function (as well as erectile dysfunction). Only prescription drugs can treat doctor-diagnosed, blood test verified testosterone problems.

Testosterone supplements claiming to treat low testosterone are asking for trouble!

This risk is amplified if a testosterone boosting supplement wades into the dangerous waters of erectile function claims. Just consider how popular drugs for erectile dysfunction are, how powerful the Big Pharma companies that produce them are, and ask yourself: “Do I really want to poke that bear?” It’s not worth it!

Now, if you want to keep your testosterone boosting supplement claims clean and conservative, you would use a different style of language. Some examples of safer claims include:

  • Helps to support healthy testosterone levels
  • Helps maintain testosterone production
  • Supports testosterone production
  • Supplies important nutrients for testosterone synthesis
  • Natural testosterone support

Sexy? Not really. Vague? Most definitely. But if you want to sell natural testosterone boosters on Amazon and remain in the good graces of the FDA and FTC, this is the tone you should aim for.

What to say: Testosterone, Test or T?

Great question. How should we refer to testosterone in supplement content? As a testosterone supplements copywriter, I have worked with quite a few  companies in this space, all of which had different takes on terminology.

One especially popular online testosterone supplement insisted on using “T” only in their content. I don’t agree with this.

Photo of a muscular and healthy middle aged man in the gym working outWhether you say “testosterone,” “test” (which is more sports nutrition oriented), or simply “T”, the Food and Drug Administration knows what you are talking about.

My advice: Use a mix of all these terms to cover all of the SEO permutations that will draw organic traffic to your site.

Testosterone Supplement Copywriting Examples

In this section, I will start sharing some of the good stuff!

I will begin with some content marketing: A testosterone booster index. This is an example of educational content in the t-booster space. In it, I list many of today’s most popular test boosters.

But instead of just empty marketing words, this content is helpful: It gives consumers at-a-glance education on what these herbs, vitamins, minerals and other common ingredients are, how they work, and what they do.

The kicker: each claim is linked to a credible research source (the numbered references are listed at the bottom of this article).

As I alluded to earlier in this article, evidence is critical when it comes to the more sensitive and risky categories in the nutritional supplement space — so sharing this research is one of the key factors for building trust with your consumers while paying respect to the FDA, FTC, Amazon and other important bodies that are interwoven in supplement sales. Samples follow:

Testosterone Booster Index – Sample of Supplement Content Writing

T-booster supplements may supply a single ingredient or multiple ingredients. Single-ingredient products can deliver a higher dosage of individual supplement components per capsule, but mega-dosing is often a bad idea with T-booster compounds. Individual supplements can also get expensive if you want more than one nutrient in your T-boosting regimen.

More popular are T-booster complexes, which blend many vitamins, minerals and botanicals into one product. In complexes, some ingredients directly boost testosterone levels; others may work indirectly or even address other aspects of men’s vitality.

In general, the idea is that these ingredients will combine to help men conquer common low-T symptoms like fatigue, lost sex drive, weight gain, brain fog and more.

Complexes can be a cost-effective way to get several T-boosters and related compounds in one supplement. But the best formulas – and this might be the real secret – are made to be synergistic. This means ingredients’ individual effects are magnified by others in the formula, making the compounds more powerful combined than when taken alone.

Ingredients in T-booster supplements:

Horny Goat Weed: This flowering Asian plant got its name when a farmer noticed that his goats had more sex after eating it. Horny Goat Weed supplies an active ingredient called icariin that was shown in early animal research to raise blood T-levels.(1) This T-boosting activity might contribute to Horny Goat Weed’s more widely known reputation as a natural “sex enhancer.”

Tongkat Ali: Also called “Malaysian Gisnseng” this root has shown anti-estrogen effects in animal research.(2) One animal study also found that tongkat ali raised the testosterone level in the testes after 30 days of supplementation.(3) The evidence supporting in animal studies complements human research that showed tongkat ali may improve semen volume, sperm activity and male potency.(4)

Bulbine Natalensis: A traditional African herb, Bulbine has long been used by the Zulu for libido support. In tribal practices, powdered Bulbine stem would be mixed with milk to make a virility-enhancing drink.(5) Animal research suggests Bulbine might help testicular and blood T-levels, and seems to exhibit anabolic and androgenic activities.(6) Bulbine has been linked to liver risks.

DHEA: Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is made in the adrenal glands and migrates to the testes. Here, it serves as a raw material for T production. Evidence shows DHEA declines with age: 70-year-old men, who often have low testosterone, have about 80% less DHEA in their blood than younger men.(7) Although DHEA supplementation is somewhat controversial, research shows it boosts and sustains free testosterone circulating in the blood.(8)

Tribulus: An aphrodisiac in ancient Asian traditions, Tribulus terrestris is now popularly used by athletes for lean muscle mass. A spiky plant, tribulus is also reputed to “spike” testosterone levels; however, evidence in this area is early at best. One study found that combining tribulus with androstenedione, chrysin, indole-3-carbinol (I3C), and saw palmetto did appear to boost multiple androgen male sex hormones, including testosterone.(9)

L-DOPA: Also called levodopa, this botanical compound may boost levels of Luteinizing Hormone (LH), which stimulates the testes to make testosterone. One animal study found that a single high-dose serving of L-DOPA significantly raised LH levels after only four hours. Researchers concluded that prolonged high-dose L-DOPA appeared to be associated with sustained blood LH levels.(10)

Mucuna Pruriens: Also known as “velvet bean,” Mucuna is an Ayurvedic plant with seeds that are a rich in levodopa (L-DOPA). In a human study of male subjects with fertility problems, Mucuna supplementation was found to significantly increase testosterone and LH blood levels, while also improving dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline status. Researchers observed that Mucuna could help to improve male fertility, since it also enhanced both sperm count and sperm motility.(11)

Oysters: Rich in protein, oysters are also a good source many important minerals, including zinc, selenium, magnesium and iron. Oysters also deliver several B vitamins. Famous for sparking men’s sex drive, oysters have been suggested to be a T-boosting food – a reputation that’s probably backed by their zinc and B-vitamin nutrition.

B Vitamins: Animal research shows low Vitamin B6 levels are tied to low testosterone levels. Scientists have even suggested low B6 intake may actually slow testosterone synthesis.14 B12 is another B-vitamin that may appear in T-boosters for its energy metabolism benefits. B vitamins can be challenging: We need a higher daily intake of them as we grow older, but they also get harder to absorb with age.15 It’s a good idea to supplement with absorption-enhanced forms of B6 and B12 when possible.

Magnesium: This mineral sparks 300+ life-sustaining reactions in the body, including protein synthesis, bone formation, muscle relaxation and testosterone boosting. In one study of male volunteers, researchers found “supplementation with magnesium increases free and total testosterone.”16 It’s worth noting that older men who may be in T decline have a harder time absorbing and retaining magnesium.(17) Bioavailable mineral forms, such as magnesium citrate, may be helpful for these populations.

Zinc: An essential mineral for masculine health, zinc supports prostate function, sperm activity and reproductive potency in men. Zinc is used by the Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone. Human clinical trials have found that young men with low zinc intake have lower blood testosterone levels and less semen volume.(18) These study results provide evidence for zinc’s potential role in male virility. Zinc may be depleted in the aging male body, and is a first-line supplement for maintaining testosterone levels.

Nettle Urtica: Also known as “stinging nettle,” this traditional European herb is popularly used by mature men to support prostate health, urinary comfort and sexual function. Nettle might be good for the prostate because it blocks aromatase, an enzyme that turns testosterone into estrogen.(19) By blocking this conversion, nettle may help men keep their T-levels up and estrogen down, supporting an ideal manly ratio while assisting with urinary symptoms.

Siberian Ginseng: Also known as eleuthero, Siberian Ginseng is an “adaptogen” herb that strengthens the body’s resistance to stress. Only weak anecdotal evidence suggests Siberian Ginseng may raise T-levels in mice. Eleuthero’s presence in individual supplements and stacks is more likely related to its well-documented benefits for energy, mental sharpness, peak physical performance and stress resistance.(20)

Fenugreek: This ancient Indian spice is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. Research has suggested that a standardized fenugreek seed supplement improved sex drive and helped maintain peak blood testosterone levels.(21) Fenugreek has also been suggested to have anabolic muscle mass and stamina-enhancing effects that may help with other goals of testosterone boosting regimens.(22)

Vitamin D: Most Americans fail to get enough of the recommended daily allowance of this important vitamin, famous for supporting immunity and bone density. Paradoxically, we need more vitamin D with age, but it also gets harder to absorb and synthesize as we age. This might mean that many men are missing out on D’s T-boosting benefits: Human clinical research has shown regular D intake raises blood levels of free testosterone, bioactive T and total T.23 Look for the D3 form of the vitamin, which is easier to absorb.

D-Aspartic Acid: Also called DAA, this amino acid influences the production and release of hormones. Animal studies have suggested DAA triggers release of LH and growth hormone from the pituitary gland; in the testes, it promotes the formation and release of testosterone.24 DAA seems to be one of the more effective T-boosters, with a strong human study finding it raised testosterone levels by 160%.25 DAACC, which is the chelated form of DAA, may be easier for the body to absorb and utilize.

Luteolin: An antioxidant flavonoid, luteolin is found in many fruits and vegetables, as well as in Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs. Luteolin may be featured in T- boosters because it blocks the aromatase enzyme that converts testosterone into the female sex hormone, estrogen.26 Like nettle, luteolin helps men optimize T-levels and keep estrogen in check – which may help delay andropause and its related symptoms.

Boron: This mineral, popularly taken for bone strength and joint comfort, may also have testosterone benefits. One study found that boron raises T while significantly reducing estradiol, a female sex hormone related to estrogen. These results led researchers to proclaim it was “the first human study to show an increased level of free testosterone after boron consumption.”(27)

Vitamin K: Known for keeping calcium in the bones and out of the bloodstream, this essential vitamin is also found in the testes, where it promotes testosterone synthesis. Animal research has found that Vitamin K deficiency correlates with low testosterone production.(28) Vitamin K supplements appear to reverse this problem, boosting T-synthesis and helping restore healthy levels.(29) There are several vitamin K forms; K2 is believed to have the highest activity and strongest potency.

Testosterone Essentials

SPORT T+ starts with key essential vitamins and minerals that are required for healthy testosterone production, but may be suboptimal in some men:

  • Zinc – Raw material forms T, regulates T release, maintains T depleted by exercise
  • Magnesium – Protects T from SHBG, helping sustain circulating free testosterone
  • Vitamin D – Research links D to significant increase of total T, bioactive T, and free T
  • Boron – Fights SHBG and estrogen; helps androgen DHT, Magnesium and Vitamin D
  • Vitamin K – Research suggests low K may limit T while supplemental K may raise T

Our cultured vitamins and minerals are complexed with absorption-enhancing cofactors that maximize their T support and masculine health benefits.

KSM-66® Ashwagandha, 300 mg

Ashwagandha is an Ayurvedic root herb traditionally used for physical and mental performance enhancement. Its active withanolides may help increase testosterone by:

  1. Bolstering resistance to the negative impact of stress on testosterone, including by blunting the release of stress hormone cortisol;
  2. Promoting the synthesis of LH and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone, which trigger T production;
  3. Providing antioxidant activity that protects serum testosterone as well as protecting the testes that produce T

SPORT T+ KSM-66® has been shown in human clinical research to:

  • Increase LH by 34%
  • Increase testosterone by 17%

Mucuna Pruriens (15% levodopa), 150 mg

Mucuna Pruriens is a male tonic herb that supplies levodopa (L-DOPA), an effective active ingredient for masculine health and testosterone production:

  1. L-DOPA stimulates the brain to release gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH);
  2. GnRH signals the pituitary gland to produce LH;
  3. LH promotes increased testosterone synthesis in the testes

Mucuna may further support a masculine hormone body-state by acting as a mild inhibitor of the T-diminishing hormone prolactin while optimizing growth hormone. Research suggests Mucuna significantly increases T in men with low sperm count.

SPORT T+ Mucuna Pruriens is strong. Velvet bean seeds are 4.2% levodopa; SPORT T+ Mucuna Pruriens is 15% levodopa. One SPORT T+ serving supplies levodopa equivalent to 8.6 g of velvet bean.

D-Aspartic Acid Calcium Chelate (D-AA-CC), 300 mg

D-Aspartic Acid Calcium Chelate (D-AA-CC) is an amino acid that regulates sex hormones throughout the endocrine system. It supports testosterone production by:

  1. Helping pituitary gland produce growth hormone; LH and growth hormone;
  2. Supporting gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), LH and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH);
  3. LH and FSH signal for increased production of testosterone

SPORT T+ D-AA-CC complexes DAA molecules with calcium chelate for enhanced absorption and easier digestion.

Luteolin (from orange fruit extract), 30 mg

Luteolin is a botanical antioxidant that promotes ideal testosterone levels by blocking aromatase, an enzyme that converts T into estrogen. This bioactivity is helpful for:

  • Stacking with D-AA-CC: Luteolin limits D-AA-CC’s female hormone activity while allowing its male hormone activity to work to the fullest effect
  • Men over 30: Luteolin helps regulate aromatase’s testosterone-to-estrogen conversion rate, which increases as men grow older and is linked to age-related T decline

Take SPORT T+ in conjunction with strength training and sport nutrition supplements to support healthy testosterone production and peak athletic performance.

SPORT T+ helps keep more testosterone circulating for a longer time. Take it to upgrade your male testosterone activity, muscle strength and full masculine power.

F.A.Q.

Who should take SPORT T+?

SPORT T+ is designed to be taken by men, only. This formula can help men of all ages, including the aging male, who may suspect they have T deficiency and are seeking to safely and naturally raise testosterone levels. SPORT T+ may assist with the secondary benefits of a more masculine hormonal status, including physical strength, muscle mass and recovery, helping to increase energy, weight management, body fat metabolism, sexual function and virility.

How do I take SPORT T+?

Take 2-4 capsules daily. For best results, take 1-2 capsules with your first meal of the day or before your workout, and then 1-2 capsules with your second meal or after your workout. For best results, SPORT T+ should be taken as part of an overall fitness regimen including strength training and cardiovascular exercise. These activities work in conjunction with SPORT T+ to raise testosterone levels higher than with supplementing alone.

Why does SPORT T+ not supply fenugreek?

Fenugreek is one of the common ingredients in natural testosterone boosters and virility supplements, and evidence suggests it may effectively support healthy T levels in men with testosterone deficiency. Part of the reason it works is by blocking 5-alpha-reductase that converts T into another hormone called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), thereby sustaining circulating T levels. The problem: DHT is another important male sex hormone that works together with T. Fenugreek benefits for testosterone are offset by its potential to reduce masculine DHT.

SPORT T+’s 300 mg of DAA seems low compared to other testosterone boosters. Why is this?

A recent study suggested DAA is only effective for a short period of time at high doses at 1500 mg – 3000 mg, and can actually reduce testosterone at excessively high 6000 mg doses. SPORT T+’s conservative 300 mg dose of DAA as enhanced potency D-AA-CC is intended to maintain your testosterone level to promote endocrine system signaling over time, thereby eliminating the need for cycling.

Is SPORT T+ safe?

Like all our supplements, SPORT T+ is designed to be safe for daily use and long term health. SPORT T+ achieves clean health benefits and testosterone boosting results by using pure, potent ingredients that are dosed appropriately and in line with clinical research. Free of GMOs, gluten, soy, colorants, preservatives and other additives found in low-quality over the counter supplements, SPORT T+ is safe and beneficial for raising serum T, even with long-term use.

Is SPORT T+ legal?

Yes. SPORT T+ is a safe, natural and legal form of T supplementation. This is important because some testosterone boosters are not legal in all countries, while others may be banned by professional, amateur and collegiate SPORTs organizations. SPORT T+ ingredients are legal all over the world, and are tested for banned substances that may be present in other testosterone supplements.

The Science Behind the Art: Deep Scientific Research

One of the cornerstones of effective weight loss supplement copywriting is a profound understanding of the scientific principles behind these products. My commitment to excellence has driven me to immerse myself in the realm of scientific research. I cut through all the noise. I diligently study clinical studies, peer-reviewed journals, and the latest advancements in the field to ensure that every word I write is backed by credible scientific evidence.

Translating Complex Research into Understandable Content

A key challenge in weight loss supplement copywriting is translating complex technical language from research studies into marketing content that’s accessible to everyone. I take pride in my ability to bridge this gap seamlessly, and explain products flawlessly. My writing effortlessly transforms intricate scientific data into compelling narratives that captivate and educate consumers, making them feel confident in their supplement choices to lose weight.

Regulatory Navigation: FDA, FTC, and Beyond

The supplement industry is rife with regulations from government bodies worldwide, making compliance a top priority. My extensive experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of FDA and FTC regulations, as well as compliance with platforms like Amazon, which has its own stringent rules for supplement marketing.

Ensuring FDA Compliance: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States sets strict guidelines for supplement claims and labeling. Navigating these regulations is no small feat, but my years of experience have provided me with an insider’s perspective on how to craft persuasive messaging while adhering to FDA guidelines. This ensures that your marketing materials not only drive sales but also remain in compliance. I consider FDA writing a specialty.

FTC Compliance: Ethical Marketing Practices: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is vigilant in protecting consumers from deceptive marketing practices as they strive to lose weight. I firmly believe in ethical marketing and can help you create content that promotes the benefits of your diet pills and fat burners without making unrealistic promises. This approach not only keeps you on the right side of the law but also builds trust with your customers.

Amazon’s Strict Regulations: Selling supplements on Amazon comes with its own set of challenges due to the platform’s strict regulations. From listing optimizations to reviews and advertising, I am well-versed in the intricacies of Amazon’s policies. I can guide you through the process, ensuring your products not only rank well but also meet Amazon’s compliance standards.

The Power of Compelling Storytelling

While compliance with regulations is non-negotiable, the art of persuasive storytelling is where the magic happens. My unique creativity as a content writer allows me to create narratives that resonate with your target audience. Whether it’s through product descriptions, blog posts, or social media content, I know how to craft extremely effective stories that engage and drive sales.

This is a storytelling weight loss copywriting example taken from a custom third-party publication (mini-magazine) I produced

The Customer Journey

Effective copywriting takes consumers on a journey, from identifying a problem to discovering the solution—your healthy weight supplement. I understand the psychology of consumer decision-making as they work to lose weight. I use this understanding to create content that guides potential customers through this journey, ultimately leading them to choose your product.

Building Trust and Credibility

In the age of information overload, trust and credibility are invaluable. I can help you establish your brand as a reliable source of health information. By delivering consistent, authoritative content, we can position your company as a trusted advisor in the world of weight loss.

Weight Loss Supplement Copywriter – Tips to Help You WIN

Weight loss is an extremely sensitive category when it comes to making any claims, especially in the context of dietary supplements. Concepts related to “fat burning” “reducing” or “losing” excess pounds may raise risk of FDA scrutiny.

A key phrase to keep in mind is “helps to support healthy weight management.”

You may choose more aggressive marketing than this, but if you want to stay extremely conservative, that is more the tone you must take. As a bonus, consider pairing any “helps you lose weight” claims with a qualifier like “as part of a healthy diet and exercise program.”

While we’re at it, remember the importance of the word “helps.”

Dietary supplements cannot cause weight loss. Rather, they are designed to complement healthy eating and fitness regimens. Your marketing copy should describe this angle. But your imagery can, as well. Rather than the “after” image, consider the journey: Imagery conveying regular exercise, the gym, muscle building, fitness efforts, healthy eating images, etc.

Storytelling is Key to Success

Some nutrients that help people lose weight have rich histories that are great for storytelling. This is important in the somewhat restrictive diet industry where it is challenging to talk in detail about how to lose weight. When you cannot make big claims, you can tell stories. African mango, green tea extract, green coffee bean, 5-HTP… all of these diet pill ingredients are fascinating in their own right. Telling the whole story can be a key benefit to your marketing efforts.

Be sure to use credible references to cover your claims.

In addition to keeping claims respectful, consider backing them with strong references. For example, if you are selling a fiber supplement for weight loss, you can make claims about appetite satisfaction and reducing caloric intake. You can make these points even stronger by referencing a source like this one from the National Institutes of Health, a credible .gov site that’s making the same point that you wish to make about your fiber product.

A small selection of diet pill ingredients I’ve written about:

a cup of brewed matcha green tea, which I have written about as a weight loss supplement copywriter

  • Garcinia cambogia (hydroxycitric acid [HCA])
  • Raspberry ketones
  • Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)
  • White kidney bean
  • Konjac root
  • Hoodia
  • Green coffee bean
  • Chromium picolinate
  • African mango
  • Coleus forskohlii
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Caffeine

I’ve also written extensively about major diet pill brands, including Slimvance, Hydroxycut and more.

Conclusion

As a weight loss supplement copywriter, my success is a delicate balance of science and art. With over 20 years of experience leading campaigns for a wide range of weight loss products, I bring a unique blend of expertise and creativity to the table. My commitment to deep scientific research, strict regulatory compliance, and the power of persuasive storytelling sets me apart as the go-to professional in the industry.

Olive Supplement Copywriting – 2 Marketing Examples

Interested in upping your marketing on olive supplements? I, the Natural Health Writer, am here to help with this article on olive supplement copywriting. Read on for tips and examples on how to market your olive-based dietary supplements.

In my career I have written about a few different olive-based dietary supplements. Today, I will be sharing a couple of my samples as an olive supplement copywriter.

The first I am sharing is for ProHealth: A content marketing blog article focusing on a product featuring the branded ingredient Olea25™. (You can read more about my dietary supplement blog writing services right here.)

The second example is a more direct olive supplement copywriting piece done for the Asian natural health company Cosway, for a branded ingredient (Hidrox).

As I read these samples, I see nutritional supplement storytelling at its finest. I explain mechanisms of action and benefits in easy-to-understand terms.

I also introduce a concept many olive marketers are missing: That olive supplements are, in fact, quite eco-friendly. Some turn olive industry waste products into highly powerful antioxidant supplements.

Olive Supplement Copywriting Example 1: Content Marketing Blog Article

Olea25™ Olive Hydroxytyrosol Hits Astonishing 68,000+ ORAC Antioxidant Value

The Mediterranean Diet is associated with heart health, beautiful skin, flexibility, youthfulness and longevity. In fact, Mediterranean populations—Greeks and Italians in particular—may have among the highest life expectancies and the lowest incidence rates of all-cause mortality in the world.1 Olives and olive oil, which are widely consumed among these populations, supply potent nutritional compounds that may help contribute to the remarkable health of Mediterranean citizens.

Traditionally, olives’ health-supportive activities were attributed to their content of oleic acid, also known as an Omega-9 fatty acid.2 However, some researches now suggest that olives’ health-promoting biological activities may be more attributed to polyphenols: Powerful inflammation-soothing antioxidant compounds that appear to promote health across many body systems:3

Polyphenols seem to hold great promise for wellness. And now, research is zeroing in one olive-sourced polyhenol in particular—hydroxytyrosol—because it seems to supply even greater nutritional support for both daily and long-term vitality. Olea25™ is a patented form of hydroxytyrosol that is designed to concentrate the polyphenol’s activity, potentially enhancing its nutritional support even further.

Hydroxytyrosol: The Most Important Phenol Ever Discovered?
Polyphenols are present in many fruits and vegetables. Hydroxytyrosol, however, is exclusively found in olives.4 In fact, hyroxytyrosol comprises 50% of the total phenolic content found in olives. It has the highest antioxidant activity of all the phenols found in olives, and appears to be well-absorbed in humans.5 Among hundreds of polyphenols in nature, hydroxytyrosol has emerged as one of the most promising for human health applications for its distinct biological properties:

  • Hydroxytyrosol is considered to be one of the most powerful plant antioxidants ever discovered, with a staggering 68,000 ORAC value: 15X more powerful than green tea and 3X more powerful than CoQ10.6
  • Hydroxytyrosol, a tiny molecule that is fat- and water-soluble, appears to be rapidly absorbed, distributed and metabolized in animal tissues– so its antioxidant and inflammation-modulating biological activities can reach and support many different body systems.7
  • Due to its small molecular size, Hydroxytyrosol is also one of the few antioxidants that can cross the blood-brain barrier; its beneficial activities appear to extend to brain health.7

Here’s the challenge: Olives and olive oil are a source of hydroxytyrosol, but let’s face it, they are heavy, dense foods. In fact, just one ounce of olive oil contains 250 calories and over 28 grams of fat!8 Plus, one ounce wouldn’t be nearly enough to provide beneficial levels of hydroxytyrosol.

“Olive” the benefits without “Olive” the fat and calories
In a significant nutritional advancement, some supplement manufacturers are now isolating hydroxytyrosol from olives and presenting it as a standalone compound—enabling them to supply an intensive dosage without the calories and fat of dietary olives and olive oil. By dramatically raising intake of olives’ “active ingredient” in this way, manufacturers may realize hydroxytyrosol’s full potential benefits. Let’s take a look into what those benefits might be.

Cardiovascular Health
Research has shown that those who followed a Mediterranean-style diet, including intake of olives and olive oil, appeared to have a 50% to 70% lower risk of recurrent heart concerns when compared with those who followed a diet that closely matched the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Step–I diet.9

Hydroxytyrosol may contribute to this heart-healthy diet through a few mechanisms:

  • Hydroxytyrosol has been shown to strongly inhibit the oxidation of LDL (“bad”) cholesterol. Oxidized LDL is believed to raise risk for cardiovascular health concerns.10
  • Animal studies suggest hydroxytyrosol may help to maintain blood triglycerides and cholesterol levels already within normal range, while also promoting HDL (“good”) cholesterol levels.11
  • Hydroxytyrosol may help inhibit blood “stickiness” while blocking inflammatory signals that irritate blood vessels. These activities may support flexible arteries and clear circulation.12,13

Brain Health
Not all antioxidants can cross the blood-brain barrier, but hydroxytyrosol is capable of entering the brain.14 This means hydroxytyrosol can leverage its potent antioxidant activity within our gray matter, working to protect brain cells against the free radical-induced damage that has been implicated in a range of neurodegenerative conditions.15 Hydroxytyrosol has also been suggested to be especially effective at neutralizing peroxynitrite, a type of free radical that is believed to directly influence the onset of age-related cognitive decline.16

Joint Health
One animal study found that olive oil that was enhanced with hydroxytyrosol appeared to promote joint flexibility and comfort. In particular, the study suggested hydroxytyrosol seemed to reduce bone breakdown and bone spurs while soothing connective tissue swelling—biological activities that seemed to combine to promote healthy joint function. Researchers concluded that hydroxytyrosol may help with the acute and ongoing inflammation associated with joint aches and stiffness.17

Skin Health
UVB rays from sunlight can unleash free radicals in skin that may cause photodamage: “accelerated aging” changes seen in the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, sagging and spotting. These skin changes may also be associated with other more serious skin health concerns.18 Hydroxytyrosol has been suggested in some research to reduce UVB ray-induced DNA damage to human skin cells, a result that led research to suggest it may have “significant protective ability” against photodamage to skin.19

Did you know? Hydroxytyrosol may be a “green” nutritional supplement ingredient.
For thousands of years, the olive oil production process would discard olive juice as a “waste.” As it turns out, olive juice is an incredibly rich source of hydroxytyrosol. Now, what was previously treated as a throwaway byproduct has become a valued source of potent antioxidant nutrition—making hydroxytyrosol a “sustainable” nutritional supplement that’s good for the planet, too.

How to get Hydroxytyrosol?
Consider ProHealth Hydroxytyrosol Extreme Featuring Olea25™
Olive oil supplements and olive leaf supplements supply hydroxytyrosol, but some of these products may have potency limitations. Olea25™, a hydroxytyrosol ingredient manufactured by Certified Nutraceuticals, Inc. using patent-pending production and purification processes, may offer advantages as presented in ProHealth Hydroxytyrosol Extreme:

  • Olea25™ is standardized to supply 25% hydroxytyrosol content, assuring a minimum of 25 mg of “active ingredient” is present in each vegetarian Hydroxytyrosol Extreme capsule
  • Regular olives supply a compound called oleuropein which must be converted in the body into hydroxytyrosol. Olea25™ is pre-converted so no Oleuropein is present, only hydroxytyrosol
  • Olea25™ is manufactured from a superior quality hydroxytyrosol source: Cultivated organic olive leaves
  • Olea25™ is potent: One 100 mg capsule supplies the equivalent hydroxytyrosol found in one liter of extra virgin olive oil—helping bring you concentrated olive nutrition without all the fat and calories

Manufactured to high quality standard by ProHealth, Hydroxytyrosol Extreme featuring Olea25™ may be an ideal supplement for supporting the many whole-body wellness benefits associated with this promising olive-derived natural compound.

Dietary Supplement Reviewer – Boost Publicity, Affiliates & Influencers

Are you looking for a Dietary Supplement Reviewer? You are in the right place. I, the Natural Health Writer, have written literally hundreds of dietary supplement reviews.

In this blog post, I am going to talk about my approach to reviewing nutritional supplements, along with the different forms my reviews can take. I am also going to paste in a sample so you can get an idea of my style as a nutritional supplement reviewer. Let’s get to it!

**In a rush? If you are seeking a dietary supplement reviewer for your brand, then I’m your huckleberry. Please contact me anytime to chat.

The Dietary Supplement Review

So why would you ever pay the Natural Health Writer to write a supplement review for your product?

There are many uses for such reviews, but the most popular by far:

The nutritional supplement review is an effective tool for affiliate marketing.

As a Dietary Supplement Reviewer, I would write the “master reviews” of my client’s products that would spawn many other reviews throughout the client’s affiliate network.

In addition, I would write in-depth reviews of competitor products within the same category — covering their strengths and weaknesses in a fair, objective way that built credibility and positioned my client as the best of the best.

When my master review (and other in-category reviews) was completed and published, it would then serve as a wellspring of talking points for the affiliates and influencers throughout our entire network.

Indeed, the nutritional supplement review is the perfect vehicle to discuss:

  • Unique selling propositions
  • Key supplement formula differentiators
  • Supplement ingredient choices and synergies
  • Dosage levels and how they compare
  • Quality points, such as branded ingredients
  • Cleanliness, such as vegan and eco-friendly forms
  • Directions for use
  • Potential benefits to the consumer
  • Shipping details, discounts, deals
  • Stacking tips

Just imagine it. Every review, every piece of publicity, ever influencer mention of your product presenting consistent, coherent selling points. Your brand presence strong and true across the web, in 4K crystal-clarity.

As a dietary supplement reviewer, I make it SO easy for influencers and affiliates to publicize key selling points to maximum effect.

Let’s now move on to talking about some of the different forms a dietary supplement review can take.

Nutritional Supplement Product Review

This is the classic review. It analyzes a single product. Usually, it will be reviewing a stack formula with enough ingredients to really dig into.

Comparative “Versus” Reviews

Another popular review category, in these I do a side-by-side analysis of two competing products within the same category. I compare ingredients, dosages, formulation strategy, price-per-serving, etc. before naming a winner.

Best Supplement for [health concern] Review

In these reviews, I will take a health concern — such as joint aches, brain fog, constipation, etc. — and present the best products for helping with that specific concern. My sample review below is in this category, a specific “for” niche: Best brain supplements for men over age 30.

Ingredient Reviews

Some reviews will go in-depth into individual ingredients, evaluating their various uses, clinical studies, ethnobotanical origins, etc.

Why hire me as a dietary supplement reviewer? My “master” supplement reviews are a valuable marketing resource for your affiliates, influencers and salespeople.

My Favorite Supplement Review Story

I believe it was a few days before New Year’s Eve, with Jan 1, 2017 fast approaching. I was running a nutritional supplement review site at the time.

Part of the trick was recognizing which supplements were poised to surge. Doing my research, I looked at the calendar and chose to focus on weight loss for my next review.

I delved into some industry publications and learned about a new branded ingredient called SLIMVANCE. That’s when things got spicy.

Leading up to Jan 1, I cranked out several different Slimvance-related dietary supplement reviews. They included:

You get the drift. By Jan 1, all the dietary supplement reviews were indexed by the Google. The site was getting about 500 visitors per day in December… but when Jan 1 hit, that spiked to 5,000 visitors per day. 10X, all thanks to the Slimvance reviews.

That traffic was no flash in the pan.

It gave a sustained boost. This demonstrates how consumers CRAVE education when it comes to buying dietary supplements, especially the hot and trendy ones.

Conclusion

I am a nutritional supplement copywriter. Under this umbrella I include all types of content related to selling supplements responsibly. I have written about everything.

But my work as a dietary supplement reviewer has been some of the most important of my career.

What?? It’s true.

Here’s the thing. I have written hundreds of dietary supplement reviews. But not just any reviews. I go DEEP when I am writing my reviews. Deep into research, benefits, competitors, etc.

Writing these types of reviews has allowed me to get a bird’s-eye view of all major categories in the industry today.

Not just looking at one product within a category, but scoping out all of the category’s leading products. Comparing and contrasting them.

Learning about today’s greatest brands, and how each one approaches supplement formulation. Learning about who is using what. And always getting fresh insight on groundbreaking new ingredients and hot trends that define the entire industry.

My Sample Nutritional Supplement Review (“Best For” Category) follows:

Top 3 Brain Supplements for Men Age 30+

Remember your wild and crazy 20s?

Your idea of “brainpower” was different in those days. You took brain supplements—nootropics—to crush it at the gym, pick up chicks, mentally dominate your buddies at Beer Pong and Madden… and occasionally, to ace your exams.

Back then, you could take stacks upon stacks of intense stimulant brain supplements and bounce back quickly and easily, because hey… 20s.

But turning 30 changes EVERYTHING.

Now you want to take brain supplements for good and not evil.

But seriously, after 30 you need to activate and boost different aspects of brainpower to meet your new grown-up priorities, including:

  • Professional focus. You want to make a lot more money in your 30s.
  • Expanding horizons. You want to diversify knowledge & skills more.
  • Girlfriend/wife/kids. Now you’re the Man. You need that brain.

Besides these new brain demands, your mental performance actually starts declining in your late 20s. If you’re 30+, you may have already noticed that your motivation, focus, memory, and mental energy might be slipping.

With all this going on, it’s clear: If you want to max out your brainpower, when you turn 30 you must upgrade your brain supplement to a formula that:

  1. Addresses your new & changing cognitive needs and demands
  2. Feeds your brain to stop age-related mental performance slide
  3. Avoids the harsh stimulants that make you a raving man-beast

We researched and uncovered the 3 best brain supplements for men 30+ that meet these criteria. Any one is a good pick, but in order of greatness, they are:

#1: Mind Lab PRO™

“Universal Nootropic” formula that’s like a Swiss Army Knife for your BRAIN

Are you the Alpha type who wants an across-the-board brainpower surge to excel in everything you do… in your 30s and beyond? Mind Lab Pro is the best brain supplement for you.

It’s new, but Mind Lab Pro (or MLP) is already generating a lot of buzz and rave reviews. MLP is different because each of its 11 brain nutrients is research-backed, and each one hits (or comes damn near close) to the “clinical range” sweet spot.

This dynamic formulation is why MLP enhances more brain pathways than any other formula, helping with: Neurotransmitters, brain energy, neural regeneration, brain bloodflow, brain waves, and brain protection.

The end result: MLP “flexes” to improve all aspects of mental performance—attention, focus, processing speed, brain energy, memory, mood, you name it. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, MLP brings it… which is why it’s our #1 brain supplement for men over 30.

Mind Lab Pro is especially good for….

Supreme Mental Performance: MLP’s Cognizin® Citicoline + Vinpocetine supercharge brain energy and crystallize focus. The Huperzine-A, Acetyl-L-Tyrosine & Bacopa boost brain chemicals that accelerate thinking, too.

A Confident “Winner” Mindset: Rhodiola rosea crushes stress, L-Theanine relaxes, and B6 (as superior P-5-P) boosts mood—keeping you calm, cool and positive-minded while sharpening your alertness.

Brain Regeneration: Sharp-PS® phosphatidylserine (soy-free), Lion’s Mane mushroom and Pterostilbene help brain cells to multiply and thrive, helping short-term memory and long-term brain health.

Mind Lab Pro does a lot more, too… that’s the whole “Swiss Army Knife” point. As a mental performance-booster, it’s ridiculously versatile.

Other Mind Lab Pro Pros

  • Quality. Top-notch ingredients and premium Vcaps® capsules.
  • Clean. The cleanest label we’ve seen—no fillers, just brain nutrients.
  • Affordable. These 11 nootropics bought singly: $200. In MLP? $65.

Mind Lab Pro Cons

  • Brand new. Fantastic formula, but no real track record yet.

Summary: MLP’s formula seems customized for driven, ambitious men over age 30. They don’t want to be good at one thing, they want to mentally dominate everything. These Alphas are in demand and spread thin. MLP helps by promoting a performance-tuned mind that fires on all cylinders.

#2: CILTEP®

Balls-out brain chemical booster for motivation, knowledge & strategic thinking

Do you need a little help getting motivated for physical activity after turning 30? Do you see knowledge as a chance to gain a strategic advantage and win more? CILTEP might be the right brain supplement for you.

CILTEP’s formula strategy promotes “Long-Term Potentiation (LTP)”. There’s not that much research behind LTP, but the idea is it’s a kind of ramped-up, accelerated and sustained brain cell-signaling activity that may help high-intensity thinking, learning and drive.

CILTEP comes in 2nd because it simply doesn’t have the broad array of brain-boosting bio-activities that Mind Lab Pro has (then again, no other brain supplement does, either). Instead, CILTEP has a narrow focus, working exceptionally well in one cognitive pathway: Brain chemicals.

CILTEP is especially good for….

Memory & Learning. Its Artichoke Extract (5% caffeoylquinic acids) and Coleus forskohlii (20% forskolin) boost, optimize & sustain Acetylcholine (ACh) brain chemical for memory, focus, and absorbing new knowledge.

Motivation. The L-Phenylalanine boosts Dopamine (DA), the motivation/movement brain chemical that drives athletes and adrenaline junkies; P-5-P then helps the body use that Dopamine more efficiently.

Aging brain support. CILTEP’s Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) is not a nootropic, but it’s good for long-term brain health. ALCAR helps Acetylcholine too, bringing more ammo to your fight against age-related mental decline.

Other CILTEP Pros

  • Quality. Standardized artichoke+coleus ensure nootropic potency.
  • Duration. A big benefit: CILTEP is supposed to work for 8-14 hours.
  • Unique. No other nootropic boosts brain chemicals like CILTEP does.

Cons

  • Narrow focus. It’s great for brain chemicals, but not much else.
  • Early research: The main ingredients, Coleus and Artichoke, are promising but lack strong human clinical trials for brain health.

Summary: CILTEP Brand Ambassadors (“CILTEP Champions”) include athletes, trainers and gamers. This reflects CILTEP’s main purpose: It helps men over age 30 to reclaim motivation & sharpen strategy… making it just right for those who have a competitive fire that will never die.

#3: truBrain

World’s First “Think Drinks” for spiking work productivity while avoiding burnout

Career driven? Do you push your brain way beyond reasonable limits in your relentless quest to TCB? In your 30s, all that intensity catches up with you. Brain fog, mental fatigue and burnout set in… and you fall behind. truBrain could be the right brain supplement for you.

truBrain is a two-formula stack that helps you “Get your work done faster, and get out of the office sooner.” This is exactly what a lot of men over age 30 are looking for. truBrain Original is taken daily; the Boost formula is taken once in a while, whenever you need extra mental energy.

truBrain products are designed as safe, effective alternatives to stimulants, energy drinks and ADD drugs—all of which are over-used in office settings, and exact a bigger toll as men grow older. For its laser-targeted productivity benefits and noble mission, truBrain is our #3 for men over 30.

TruBrain is especially good for…

Multitasking & TCB: truBrain’s Oxiracetam (a racetam-class nootropic) and Citicoline work together to stimulate the brain and sharpen attention without making you a jittery mess.

“Direct Focus.” A brain benefit unique to truBrain, this mindset is promoted as being far better than stimulant-driven “alertness” for cranking on productivity and getting the most out of your workday.

Charging Up. The Boost truBrain formula gives a nice mental energy bump with Uridine and Centrophenoxine for brain chemicals and Caffeine+L-Theanine for clear-headed brain energy with less jitters.

Other truBrain Pros

  • Drinks. Easy and made tasty with agave, nopal, mangosteen & pear.
  • Credible. truBrain is developed and tested by neuroscientists.

Cons

  • Expensive! The “regular” package is $85/month.
  • Stimulants. Caffeine+Oxiracetam combo is not for everybody.
  • Scammy? truBRAIN offers a great introductory deal, but you have to sign up for a suspicious Autoship program to get it… so be careful.

Summary: Workaholism can take all the fun out of your 30s. truBrain boosts productivity and sharpens professional performance safely, without risks, burnout or side effects. Take it to find a healthy work-life balance, get more done in less time, and set yourself up for a bright professional future.

The Big Finish

When you turn 30—despite your best efforts—you will notice that your body is starting to age… and that your brain might be slowing down a bit, too. This sucks.

But there’s good news: By taking the right age-targeted brain supplements, your brain can grow stronger as you grow into your 30s.

Ultimately, your brain can become the new nexus of your manly power—boosting mental and physical performance, helping you feel more youthful, and driving you to achieve more in life throughout your 30s and beyond.

The three formulas discussed in this article—Mind Lab Pro, CILTEP, and truBrain—are all awesome, high-quality brain supplements that perfectly match the unique brain needs of men over age 30.

Any one of them is a great pick for boosting your brain to become a better man as you age.

Nutritional Supplement Blog & Article Writer

This is a blog post about writing blog posts. Specifically, blogging for dietary supplements and holistic health topics. I am the Natural Health Writer, P.J.S. Dougherty. And writing nutritional supplement blog articles is one of my top specialties.

If you are looking for a dedicated expert supplement blogger, then you are in the right place. We can get started today.

If you are “just browsing” for writers or seeking to write your own blog articles, don’t click away just yet. This article is written to help you, too.

I will be discussing what goes into a great supplement blog article. I’ll share some insight and tips that can help you get started and make the most of your blogging initiative.

Of course I won’t give away all my secrets, but even if you’re not hiring me there are gold nuggets in the copy that follows. I’m happy to share this insight with you, because I love this industry and I want us all to thrive!

Nutritional Supplement Blogging

Has your nutritional supplement brand fallen behind on blogging?

Or perhaps your blogs need a refresh to bring them up to date, sharpen SEO and bring them into FDA-proof (or at the very least, FDA-friendly) territory.

Maybe you’re just tired of the headaches. Because let’s face it. Consistent, high-quality blogging is especially challenging in the natural health sphere.

Good luck finding a writer who understands supplements. Even more challenging: finding a dietary supplement blog writer who produces FDA-friendly articles that:

  1. empower the reader with credible health knowledge
  2. sell your product without clubbing the reader over the head
  3. pass legal review and get approved to publish, quickly and easily

These blogging pain points are extra painful because supplement articles have tremendous potential to boost every aspect of your brand.

Blogging is an incredibly versatile supplement marketing tool.

In fact, when it comes to copy that sells supplements, I can think of no better vehicle than the humble blog… as long as it’s written by an awesome supplement blog writer. Here’s how a blog can really empower your brand:

SEO draws organic traffic

This is the biggest impact I have seen with my blogging. Organic traffic. These visitors are often ready to buy.

Here are some of my greatest hits. Each of the following blog articles is ranking for its respective keyword on Google.

Benefits of Nootropics – #7 Google Ranked
Are Nootropics Safe? – #4 Ranked
Best Nootropic Supplements – #4 Ranked
Best Probiotic for Constipation – #4 Ranked
Nootropics for ADHD – #1 Ranked
List of Nootropics – #2 Ranked
Best Prebiotic Supplement – #5 Ranked
Best Energy Supplements – #1 Ranked (Featured Snippet)
Best Caffeine Pills – #9 Ranked (“Best Caffeine Pills 2023”, #1 Featured Snippet)

Of course, great content alone is not enough to rank. Your overall SEO strategy, including off-page SEO efforts, plays a big part, as well.

Blogs educate consumers

Education sells supplements. Blogs educate supplement consumers.

Just imagine the possibilities, with a vast network of credible, high-quality blog posts educating consumers on the research behind your ingredients, the importance of quality, the stories that sell your supplements. All interwoven seamlessly. So that ultimately any click merely reinforces your products with credibility.

Here are some more examples of supplement blog articles distributed via list and social, where SEO was not so paramount.

The Gut Brain Connection & Why it Matters – Blog genesis & concept development, first blog published by brand, legally reviewed

The Mythical COVID Pill – B2B blog article advising brands to avoid any claims related to COVID

Blogs build credibility

When blogging is done consistently over time, you not only gain SEO traction but also build your information resources into a vast archive.

This demonstrates to the consumer that your brand knows what it is talking about… again, as long as your blogs are written with expertise and prevision.

Just imagine the possibilities, with a vast network of credible, high-quality blog posts educating consumers on the research behind your ingredients, the importance of quality, the stories that sell your supplements.

All interwoven seamlessly via links. So that ultimately any click merely reinforces your products with credibility.

I’m old-school like this kid. All my supplement blog posts are 100% written by hand. No robots!

How to Win at Dietary Supplement Blogging

Here’s the challenge: When it comes to dietary supplements, blog articles need to be a higher caliber in order to have any beneficial impact, let alone to boost your whole brand.

There are lots of low-quality blog articles on dietary supplements.

You know the kind of posts I’m talking about. Poorly written and irrelevant at best, fraught with red-flag FDA words throughout at worst.

Sometimes you get lucky and produce a fairly well-written article – but then you find it misses the mark when it comes to SEO, is irrelevant to your needs or simply doesn’t seem to serve any purpose at all.

It’s just…. fluff.

The last – the mediocre supplement blog posts – are the most painful for me to observe. Because for many, they are “good enough”, so the vast potential of supplement blogging goes unrealized.

On the flipside, when you get a great nutritional supplement blog post, you are making an investment that can bring you amazing returns.

What makes a nutritional supplement blog post great?

A blog post must have an intention to be great. It must serve a purpose.

Dietary supplement brands want to sell more dietary supplements. The blog post serves as a powerful tool to do that.

As long as you do it the right way. Let’s take a look at some things that should go into a successful dietary supplement blog both.

Research

And lots of it. Credibility is key for the entire supplement industry. Blog articles are the perfect vehicle to showcase the research that has gone into your products. It’s beneficial to also share research that has nothing to do with your products. Such as lifestyle tips and tricks for various health concerns that you may be discussing in your articles.

Tip: do real research. Get to the source. Don’t get your blog information from competing blogs. Be original. Make the queries your own.

There are a few reasons for this. First and most obviously, plagiarism is wrong. In my world this applies to mining competitors blogs for the same information, rewriting it, etc.

Google knows the difference, anyway. Increasingly so. If you want to rank, your post must bring original insightful content into the world.

Relevance

Give your visitors the information they are looking for. I have witnessed some truly cringe worthy blog posts that swing and miss spectacularly on the most basic of blogging principles.

The visitor landed on your supplement blog post looking for something specific.

In the nutritional supplement industry, this “something specific” is also something closely personal to the visitor. His or her health, the greatest wealth.

They are not as casual as other people searching on the Internet. They’re looking for important information.

If you are fortunate enough to gain their attention, you had better get to the point and quick!

Your article opening must be on topic. But what follows is even more instrumental.

Depth

In a great nutritional supplement blog article, the author will go into the details to tell the whole story – well, as much of the story as can be told in a reasonable length blog post.

A great nutritional supplement blog post writer will figure out the links using SEO tools, as well as tapping experience and some other sly tricks to pick out the most impactful word count for your topics.

This typically ranges from 2000 to 3000 words, but can be longer in some cases.

That’s a lot of content!

These days it is challenging to capture the reader’s attention for so long. That’s why you’re blog post article really have to sparkle in terms of its style it also must be formatted correctly. And top of the list, and must be structured in a sensible way.

So many blogs fail at this. Think like the inverse pyramid from high school journalism class, infused with storytelling. Broken down into simple concepts that flow from beginning to end.

This can indeed be challenging, but is essential especially for the wellness industry.

We have a duty to our customers to help them understand every ingredient that we supply in our supplements.

When it comes to matters of health, and indigestible products, the more high quality information you can supply to your consumers, the better.

Google and other search engines know this. They are rewarding longer-form content on a nutritional supplement blog that provides credible information and visitors can actually use to help their overall health.

Choose your sources, communicate them clearly and is truly, and then give credit. This aligns with the supplement industry’s best direction moving forward. And also gives you a great opportunity to market your products formulation strategy.

Claims awareness

This is one of the biggest hurdles facing nutritional supplement blog writers.

It is difficult enough to craft an entire story about an herb, nutrients, or combinations thereof. Then you’re thrown a curveball: just like the marketing material on your labels, packaging, and main website, your blog content must be respectful to FDA guidelines.

Notice I didn’t say 100% compliance with FDA guidelines. That’s because I am not a lawyer. I am a nutritional supplement blog writer. Only a lawyer can guarantee 100% compliance.

What sets me apart from other writers in that category, however, is my extensive experience crafting FDA-friendly content for nutritional supplement companies.

I like to say, only a lawyer can tell you if your content is 100% compliant. But I can get you close to the target – all while storytelling, brand building, and supplement selling.

Brand weaving

This aspect of dietary supplements blog marketing requires an especially deft hand. All of your blog content should support your product your brand in some way. But even greater than that, it must first address the visitors need directly and was strong credible information.

So product marketing must take a backseat. But not too far back, or else you will lose the reader entirely. Instead the product must be woven into the content. The more content you have, the easier and more effective this will be. Internal links, directing to more information on everything that the visitor may be looking for.

Conclusion

Do you have a blog? Good for you. But are you posting consistently? Is your content compliant? Are you realizing the massive potential your blog possesses?

In this article, I’ve discussed some of the challenges when it comes to maintaining a supplement blog. It can cause a lot of headaches. And spending money on low-quality content is worse than having no content at all!
